ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE: DENISON'S FOCUS ON ECUADORIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Studies of organizational culture in universities and institutes higher education have acquired relevance due to the valuable information they generate about identity an organization. The described as a set values, beliefs artifacts not only define behavior people social entities, but are aspects that transmitted from generation generation, through teaching-learning processes knowledge, attitudes members educational faculty have. Hence, importance developing this research work seeks characterize culture, analyze dominant dimensions design cultural model institute Ecuador. For purpose, Denison instrument is applied teaching population institute. In treatment information, statistical package SPSS Microsoft Excel used, well tools such Cronbach's Alpha Principal Component Analysis. results reveal dominance mission-oriented culture.
